What an inspiring blog, Larkin! I am actually Laura Glankler's sister, Beth. Although I am no 100-miler on the bike and never will be, I can definitely relate to the training aspect being the hardest part (running for me). I've had Patellofemoral Syndrome, Iliotibial Band Syndrome, and a dislocated kneecap...but I've been going to physical therapy for almost three months now. That and spinning have been my saving grace. I will be running my first full marathon on April 30! Best wishes to you and your upcoming race!
